  1. I have homeschooled my 11ds,10dd and 3ds for 6yrs. We have followed an eclectic method.

We read classics and use Robinson curriculum as a core for this.

We use TWTM ideas for history, science, grammar etc.

We used r&s grammar for a few years but changed to schoolaid climbimg to good english.

For math we use singapore and they are in 6b and 5a respectively. My oldest is doing well and would finish singapore this week.My dd seems to be struggling. It does not seem to stick, she needs alot of help and spends over 2 hours on a math lesson most days.

Youngest is not doing formal school yet.

My son also takes a coop writing class and they are taking a beginner chemistry course once a week. dd takes spanish class.

I would be returning to work in July , we would have someone with them when we are not there. My dh would have more flexible hours.

I need help with finding curricullum they can do independently but is rigorous. We would still do school 3 days or so and evenings with my dh or I.

We would do science, history ,bible and read alouds together.

Do you think I should change my dd from singapore?

Has any one used CLE units ?

    Thanks

  2. I have both and mich prefer the flashmaster. It is better at both systematic and random drill. you can put in your own problems and you can review past work the child has done. The math shark does not have these features. Also my children figured out how to trick the math shark. Math shark has the advantage of having other drill like fractions and percentages.
