  1. I'm also in the enhanced-sense-of-smell-while-preggo camp. It happened very early on too, even before I knew I was pregnant. It was very strange. Now every time I smell something that DH can't, I think "uh-oh"!:tongue_smilie: I think I've read that one's sense of smell can change with monthly hormonal cycles as well.
  2. At our last home our mail carrier used to do this and it drove me crazy. It was in Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plain and carries the mail out of your mailbox and out into the street. I have had to retrieve ours more than once from the neighbors yard. I always thought it was just laziness. DH did complain to the p.o. Thank goodness our current mail carrier always closes the box and is sweet as can be when delivering packages to the door.
  3. I don't have any experience homeschooling while pregnant with twins, so I don't have any advice about that, but I did have twins when my oldest was only 14 months, and I felt like you, could barely move toward the end. I basically survived on the help and charity of others (my mom and DH mostly) for the last month of the pregnancy. FWIW, I also nursed my twins for the first year, so that is totally do-able, and I second the advice about the twin nursing pillow, that thing was a life-saver. It would have been much harder if I hadn't been able to tandem nurse, and the pillow definitely made that aspect easier. You are only 3 days away from the point at which I delivered my twins, so here's hoping you have two healthy happy babies soon. And here are a few hugs for you...:grouphug:
  4. Love this thread! When my dinosaur-obsessed son was 3, we were at a pizza joint when a teenager with a big spiky mohawk walked in. My son took one look at him and said, "Hey, that human has a crest!"
  5. I have been on the fence about buying this for a while also. After reading this thread, I decided to take the plunge and try the coupon code for the 25% off. The girl I talked to on the phone said they just put the new version 6.0 up on the website today, and she gave me the 25% off the new version without me even asking. But what made it even sweeter is that they already had an introductory promo price of $39.95, so the 25% brought the price down to $29.95. Unfortunately, the new version is so new they had a glitch with the activation key generator, so I'm still waiting on them to send it to me. (I should also add that when she asked me whether I wanted the version for Windows or Mac, and I responded "Windows", she then said, "so you'll get the new 6.0 version" - it made me think that maybe they haven't got the Mac version ready, so you Mac users may need to ask about that) I'm looking forward to making worksheets galore! (And then binding them up with my new Proclick!) :D
