We have memberships to both Sam's and Costco and we GREATLY prefer Costco! We purchased our TV from Costco 3, maybe 4 years ago and couldn't be happier with it.

I use Xtra math for my 6 year old ds who absolutely hates anything that is timed. I have him stand beside me and shout out the answers and I type them. This really takes a lot of pressure off him and lets him focus only on solving the problem (as opposed to solving problem, trying to find the correct answer on a keyboard that he's not very familiar with and typing the answer all within a time limit). I'm very impressed with how quickly he is learning his math facts! Also, when one of those math facts he has memorized comes in handy and helps him effortlessly solve a problem in our regular curriculum, I make sure to point out that he has all that hard work he's put in on Xtra math to thank for it. So now he's seeing that even though Xtra math may not be his favorite thing to do, it's very useful.

I've been considering using this for U.S. geography. There's also this for world geography.

Stack the States, though, is by far our favorite. DS (just turned 6) has learned all 50 states as well as plenty of random facts about each state just by playing a few minutes a day.
