Forum has been hard for me to log in and post, too.

I said goodbye to the elder cat this morning. It's been a rough couple of weeks losing my old diabetic and then this kitty, one of the best cats I've ever had. Trying to stay busy with reading today.

    (((Critter))) I'm so very sorry!

  2. Good morning or should I say afternoon!  I've been having problems logging in, staying logged in and my posts also take forever to post, I thought maybe WTM just didn't like me, lol, glad to see it's not just me!  Guess what?  I got most of the things done!  I got both bathrooms done, some laundry, cat bares cleaned and I even got a walk in.  What I didn't do was take something out for dinner, lol!

  3. Yay, Susan, playing the harp and getting your goals list done!  You are amazing!

Umm, Slache, per ITT rules, dying is prohibited!

got the vehicle inspected, lab work done, recycling dropped off and the tree taken down, I have impressed myself.  Now, if I get the bathrooms cleaned tomorrow, I will be walking on cloud 9!

    Good Morning!

    Happy Friday!!

I'm having another reading week -- trying to stay ahead of the kids and failing miserably.

I did pre-read 4 books for dd12 and a history book for dd16.  Now I'm pre-reading a devotional book that I plan to do with my older girls this semester.

I'm also reading a history of a Mennonite church congregation in Ohio.  My step-great-great-great? grandfather was one of the founding members/pastors.

    Next up: Wuthering Heights.

What books did you read?  I have never made it through Wuthering Heights, not even the movie!

Yes to being your accountability partner.   Doubt pizza.  I don't think the grandma likes it much and I have to eat a whole pizza myself since I only eat the toppings.

No to cereal, too, Lynn.  Although I loved the days when we could!

I thought about you only being able to eat the toppings after I posted that.

Boo for blood draws.  Yay for routines!

We will probably drive to the lake to see the Christmas lights tomorrow night.  I need help deciding what to cook for supper tonight.  Nothing sounds appealing.

So, does this mean you volunteer to be my accountability partner?  Cause I think I need one, lol!

    i say pizza for dinner!

    • Thanks 1
  7. Good morning!  It's Friday!  I don't know why I'm so excited about it, I have to have blood drawn today and get Christmas stuff put away and prepare to resume lessons next week, that's it.  What's on everyone's agenda for the weekend?  My mission is to rework or actually begin working on routines for us, mostly me.

I don't really have a cleaning routine so nothing in the Happy Planner.  I really should make one and put it in there.  My "routine" is basically -finally notice that something is in really really bad shape and finally do something about it.  The things I do every day, like dishes, I don't really need to write down.

    That's what I do!  Lol!

    Morning.

My cold seems to be coming back but it could just be an allergy flare because of warmish, wet weather.  That's actually more likely based on how I feel.

Did you ever post answering a question trying to be helpful, then someone else comes in and basically responses with 'don't listen to her'?  It wasn't here.  I try to remember that you can't read tone online but it's still bugging me.

Back to the science center today so I can finish my reorganization, then home to hopefully finally clean my desk.   Then another trip to the Y to workout.   I did finish detailed plans for all my classes through the end of my current session (end of January) so over the next few weeks, I can slowly work on the detailed plans for next session.  I have an outline with tentative ideas already, I just need to flesh them out.  I like to do that closer to the actual class so I can modify based on the size of my group and what the kids seem interested in.

Yes, I have had that happen, it bugged me for awhile too, it was hard to let it go but, eventually, I did.

  10. Good morning, I've fallen into the habit of sleeping late and I can't get up!  Need to pay the rest of the bills today, pick up our grocery order and would like to go to Hobby Lobby, you know, just to walk around and get some steps, lol.  I totally forgot to put a couple of things in my grocery order so, I'll have to run inside the store to pick those up hopefully, it will be quick and painless.

((JJ)) prayers for a full recovery

Junie, way to go on the booya/h!!

Where's Toto?  I was just wondering if you put your cleaning routine in your happy planner?  I'm thinking of trying to find a way to get mine in there.  Well, after I get a cleaning routine, I'm thinking of putting it in there, lol.

Oh, Angi, you reminded me that one thing I do need to do is print off my 2019 reading challenge. https://www.challies.com/resources/the-2019-christian-reading-challenge/.  This is the one I did last year if any one is interested in a fun reading challenge. It is very versatile and I must say it is the best thing I did in 2018.

Krissi, that looks really interesting, I think I might try it!  Thank you for posting it.

  12. Hi ladies, we're home safe and sound!  I really, really enjoyed my mini vacay, it was what I needed, I was in the stadium when the Texans beat the Jaguars on Sunday, my first pro game, it was fantastic!  We had some good BBQ and tons of game time for the boys with their cousin.  I'm glad to be home, youngest and I are going to watch the fireworks.

    Bujo post!

    • BJ picks from Buzzfeed
    • My Pinterest board. I don't make beautiful pages like these but there are ideas I like on each pin I saved. There's a weekly meal plan I saved because I want to use the same layout to track my meals all day before implementing them into my fitbit at the end of the day. I saved a 6 month budget because I want to reevaluate my budget every 3 months.
    • I like the Leuchtturm1917 because it has an index (3 pages) and page numbers. We're going to office depot today to look for an off brand with those features.
    • Anything that will be referenced regularly like yearly goals goes directly in the back while regular life goes in the front.
    • Mine is color coded and I use a few symbols but it's what makes sense to me. I don't have a key because I don't need one. If the system is complicated I won't use it. Colors are mostly used for the index. I have a visual processing issue so finding March's budget is much easier if it's green.
    • I only put things in the index if they'll be referenced. Organizing a quick shopping list to text to my husband does not need to go into the index but curriculum planning does.

    Slache, that is beautiful!

  14. Good morning!

Slache, would you mind sending me a picture of how you have your trackers in your bujo?  I'm trying to get ideas on setting mine up.

Angi, enjoy your day at work!!

Susan, glad your home safe and sound, hope you guys feel better soon!

Ladies, I got some news that threw me for a loop last night, everyone is still alive but, I do need some big prayers and positive thoughts.

I think I'm going to get one. I've wanted one for 2 years but could never find them for under $90. These are 1/2" too tall and 1/2" too wide so I kind of stumbled on them. I'm not going to complain about the size if I can get one for $25!

I know what you mean!  Check etsy and see if you can get some custom inserts for a reasonable price.
