  2. Has anybody had their dc to 9th grade TT Geometry and then Saxon after??? Just wondering if I would go on to Saxon Alg 2???
  3. On their website, it recommends starting with WS 4 for 13-14 year olds.... Do you find that WS is "easy" and maybe I should place her in WS 5?
  4. I saw somebody had this.... Wanted to find "Incorportating Geopgraphy with World History" using Notgrass???? It said "thanks to Laurie Hallock"... Anybody have a link or information on this??? Thanks so much!:bigear:

  6. I would love to see it!!! Thanks for being willing to share all your hard work.... the link says "temporarily disabled"...
  7. I didn't know all of this!!! This is good news! Maybe we'll do a grammar daily worksheet...I just want her to be a confident and wonderful writer! :001_smile:

  9. I *think* this is what I am going to use for my 9th grade dd....I love the way it is layed out. We might add a couple of more books and I think she needs an online writing class too... Just wondering if there are any of you using it for history and bible?
  10. This is what I've narrowed it down to for 9th grade world history (anients to 450 AD). Which would you choose and why?:bigear:
  11. I was going to do TT's but I think now my dd will take an online course from Jann in Tx.... I know she posted a link the other day....anyhow, I think my dd will learn if she is accountable to somebody besides me....
  12. Thank you both!!!! I like that in TOG, MFW, and SL that there are weekly checklists.....it makes it easy!!! (or it appears to be easy!)... Any more secular world history? Has anyone ever tried Oak Meadow or Potters school. I just want something that will be *fun* and keep her interested, as this is all new to us!!! Any suggestions really appreciated!!!!:D
  13. I have looked at TOG, MFW, and SL (Alt 7) I have No idea which to do with a 9th grader...She is a stong reader, but doesn't like to read books that *appear* hard. I would like the books to be educational, but enjoyable. She needs more confidence in writing...thinking of doing Home2Teach writing course in addition. I like geography included too.... The bible/church history will be *over our heads* as we are newish believers... SO, any of you have the MAGIC answer???? :bigear: Thanks!!!
  14. My dd will be taking Apologia Bio and I think she needs a microscope!
  15. Looking for a great World History program that is heavy on England/france history...
  16. Looking for Biology.... I am SOOOO confused!:lol::lol:
  17. After looking at everything when I search "geometry", I *think* we are going to use Teaching Textbooks. The other programs look too dry....I was thinking of doing Saxon Algebra 2, but my dd tested high for that....so I think we are going to just have a fun year studying only geometry!:001_smile:
  18. I looked under the homeschool abbreviations and it wasn't there.... Thanks so much!
