I am in Suffolk too...

Thanks for the response! I have already prayed about it so i am going to sleep on it and see how practice goes tomorrow morning. The gymnast in question is 9yrs old, so she has one more year of eligibility. Wih the new rules it is hard to gage what they are looking for. She has all the Skills on the apparatus needed just needs to boost the strength more.
Thanks again for your input!

How many times did your daughter test? We have another opportunity to test this coming weekend but I am trying to figure out if it is worth our while to do so again.
Thanks!

Amelia Ruth would be my first choice.

She's from my hometown. I will definitely be cheering her on!
We are cheering her on too!
Cool!I don't know if my dd could be in gymnastics if she weren't homeschooled. I can't imagine being in school all day and then having 3 or 4 hour practices. At 6, my daughter is already there 9 hours/week!

I just reviewed Professor B on my blog last week. Here is the link.

There is a placement test and a free 30 day trial that you can take also. We have enjoyed using the program!

:grouphug: You have a good life and I'm betting on jealousy. It hurts, but that's because you care. YOU are a decent human being. Pray for your neice. Send her a card congratulating her on her upcoming nuptials. Send her a Christmas card. You never know, when she gets to the mothering stage, she just may think about things and realise who she really wants her kids around and who she wants to be more like. You have set a good example for both your children and for your neices and nephews.
Many Blessings to you, hon.

In addition to our subject binders each child has their own information resource binder.
Can you explain some of the items you have in a resource binder? Is this similar to a mini office file folder? :bigear:
Thanks!

Hi there!
I am Jacquelin, mom to 5 very active girls. 3 of which are competitive gymnasts and 1 is a competitive cheerleader. Things get very interesting come winter/spring as we juggle competion/meet schedules. I am married to my Lt. for 15 years and we are currently enjoying shore duty after 4 years of back to back sea deployments.
We are entering our 4th year homeschooling because the schools in our area are less than stellar, but we love it!
Nice to meet you! :D

Summer practice started on Monday for my gymnasts. In the last three days I have driven to and from the gym 10 times...I am exhausted!

I say option 1 also. I will have 3 different time periods going on next year, and as I am planning I am definitely wondering if I made a mistake. :confused1: Granted my oldest is pretty independent, but it still has me second questing my choices for the year.
I will have two in Ancients so if you go that route please do share what resources you are using and any fun field trips. :D

I will be using this for the upcoming school year for my rising 4th grader. The book list is what attracted me to the program. Looking to hear opinions.
