  1. TOPS is an excellent program!

As for the levels... our gym will be moving kids down a level if they do not meet the skill requirements. So if you are level 4 and need to stay a level 4 you will be a level 3. Our gym does not currently compete L3's so they are trying to decide whether or not they will start competing L3's with this rule change.

I have two in the TOPs program, only my 9 yr old will be testing this year as my 5 yr old is not old enough. I wonder with the level changes for next year will they lower the age requirement for Level 3 (current level 4) to 5 years old?

  2. Do you go to our gym? HAHA--jk. Some people you have to put on ignore, even in real life. ;)

LOL! I was going to say this too!!! We have a few "toxic moms "(and a dad) and I've found that ignoring them (and perhaps having a glass of wine when you get home) is the only solution. I have 3 dd's who are competitive gymnasts and the parent drama gets to be overwhelming at times.:group hug: and smile when you see Queenie because YOU DON'T have to buy into it!

:iagree: I too have 3 competitive gymnasts and the drama is intense sometimes...usually never the kids and always the parents! I just try to smile and wave when things get too crazy

  3. We have had on for several years. Instruct your children on how to land or fall. You should never put your hands down behind you to break your fall. My girls are competitive gymnasts and we do not allow them to do any type of flipping/twisting that they do in the gym. Home trampolines are not really designed for that and do not have the give when you fall. My girls enjoy jumping on it. It definitely get an enclosure.
