  1. I've recently institute a "Sock Sack". It's a lingerie laundry bag. Each child has their own hanging on a hook in their rooms. When the kids take off their socks and undies, they put them into their sock sacks. On laundry day, I throw the entire bag into the wash. No more sorting out socks! Each child gets their own bag back and puts away their own socks and undies. I got the idea from here.

    I started this several years ago. Such a time saver :thumbup:

    That doesn't bother me too much, but if you leave them in front a door, there is 100% chance that I will throw them out of the door, in two different directions.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol: Love it!!!!!!!

    I am currently in the "I want to throw everything out stage" UGH!

    :iagree:

  2. Starbucks sounds good :drool: I thought about running to the local owned coffee house this morning as a treat but it is raining and cold. Instead made coffee here and used my favorite creamer.

    Not real sure about the weekend. I hope we can, stay home today and go for a ride or something tomorrow.

    We have cable and are happy with our Vizio tv's.

    I need more coffee or something stronger. Kiddos are rather grumpy this morning. School is slow go.

  3. From 16 Candles

    Mom to son- "Don't you have something you want to say to your sister?"

    Son - "Are you kidding, where should I begin?"

    Mom - "Today is Sam's birthday and the whole family forgot."

    Son - "Ha, ha, ha.....classic"

    :lol:

    I can't remember what we've seen, but the first ones I can think of:

    Weird Science

    Back to the Future

    War Games

    Real Science

    Try: 100 Greatest Movies of the 1980s

    Thanks for the link

  4. Pizza sounds good to me :drool: I had eggs this morning :ack2: I don't really like eggs but last night was reading a book and they keep fixing eggs. They sounded good. They weren't. :tongue_smilie:

    Today will be a normal day of school and housecleaning :001_unsure: It is so warm and pretty I wish we could go somewhere. Just ride and look at the fall colors. Tomorrow brings rain and cold weather.

  5. I have always used the regular stuff, too -- when it's cold and flu season, my ds takes at least 2 packets a day.

    Of course, to avoid having it be too healthy, ds prefers to drink his Emergen-C mixed with soda. :tongue_smilie:

    :lol::lol:

    I went to give ds some the other day and noticed the age thing. Thought it was weird since I was sure I gave him some last year :confused: This explains it.

  6. No way am I an extreme couponer but for a while I was really using coupons and saving. Dh really got on board after the first trip and seeing the total drop.

    I had a nice stockpile of toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, toothpaste, soap & shampoo. Also had a nice stockpile of cereals and other foods that we do eat. I know alot of the stuff is processed but some of it is stuff dh just doen't want to give up and I don't want to pay full price.

    We have stopped couponing for a little bit as we were getting quite a stockpile and didn't want to the stuff to go bad. It sure is nice when you run out of something to just walk to the pantry or where ever you keep your supply and get a new container. (and knowing you didn't pay full price );)
