  1. Thanks ladies for your comments; I think I have calmed down a little. I think I am going to practice breathing incase I do go into panic mode. Also I have thought about using time on the plane to pray about different peolple to help me take the focus off me. And also accept that there is a chance that I will be the crazy lady with a blanket head, but that is okay and the attack probably won't kill me.:). And another thing I am planning on memorizing a few scripture about being afraid to recite to myself.

    Thanks again.

  2. I will admit this is sort of silly and there are many other people with much worse problems.

Anyways, I am flying next week and have managed to talk myself into being scared about it. Ughh... I use to love flying and have had many long overseas flights. But it has been a few years since I have flown and one of the last flights we had to do an emergency landing. I am more scared of having a panic attack during the flight with my kids there. I would like to be calm and enjoyable for my kids, not freaking out, crying and not being the crazy lady who has to put a blanket on her head.

Anyways, I trust God could make me calm and I have been praying that He will, but I could use some extra prayers and encouragemnt.

  3. Thanks again everyone, I hate that our society is so paranoid of each other. I honestly think 99.9999% of the people who go through the trouble of making cute treats for the kids are well intentioned people with a clean kitchen who don't plan to put razor blades or poision in them. Would it change your mind if I put a label on them that said "made with love from the xxx family at 123 maple lane"?

  4. I kind of don't want to buy the normal Halloween junk candy and thought about doing something homemade to pass out to the kids that come to the door. Would you allow your kids to eat it or would you immediately trash it when they got home. I mean how many 30 something ladies have made posion haloween treats?!? I would try to make it relatively healthy- nothing with a ton of dye or anything.

  5. I voted 18 or older, basically when they are on their own. There are too many dangers. My husband and I have one and

as an accountabilty thing we do together, I have a block code on his Safari and he uses a family safe browser. However, there are still ways of viewing inapproiate things from YouTube to even the app store (unless you set it 12 and younger, you can still look up sexy girls and have free porn without even purchasing or downloading an app). Also, not knowing who they are testing or calling would really bug me. Plus the CONSTANT "having" to be in contact with friends alllll the time I think is a little much. Kids need to have some alone time and not constant approval of friends.

I know we will be in the minority, but our poor kids will be lucky if they even have a tracphone or something they all share.
