and it gets graded at the end of the day. She does math with her dad, science experiments on weekends. She does know how to study which I am very grateful for, she knows she cannot take forever to turn in her work. She hears kids in youth group complain all school year long about how much they have to do, but they donot know how to manage their time.

they might think twice about it.

Donnayoung.org site she has planners you can print out.
also Mardels book store has excellent high school planners, lots of room to write and plan.

about that matter. Neither is DH.

but I knew that I had to start. Got DH involved in planning and that helped a lot, and had him help with spelling and reading in the evening after dinner, of course we have on one child.

you are going through perimenopause. You start not having periods, then have a quick one, then the next time just spotting and that is it.
I went through that when I was 43 yrs old. Stopped for good at 47 yrs. old

AP's even required, or are they? can a child go all the way through with just regular math and science classes.?
aren't ap's for kids that want to get free scholarships?
Mine certainly will not get that, but we want her to at least get an associates degree.

grand parents are having to raise their grand kids and if they were homeschooled , they want to continue to do so.

My daughter did not have the ability to organize her thoughts and write much in a limited time, so she took the on-line SAT writing course offered by the PA homeschool group. We were very pleased with the course and the guidance and direction given. She ended up getting a 10 on her essay.
I should add the caveat that she took the course four years ago, so it's possible that the woman who taught her isn't doing it any more. However, if they still offer it, I would expect that they're still using the same format and caliber of teachers. If so, I definitely recommend it.
can you post a link to the online SAT writing course? thanks

I only did algb 1 and 2. I did not go to college and I did not need to use any of it later in life. DD may do art, so why would she need trig or calculus?<br>

If you get h1n1, does that confer immunity upon you?

or not it protects everyone and how long it last.
We cannot get it in our area. but with DD being homeschooled there is less chance of her getting it. She is not in kids faces. she did get the regular flu shot and her doctor did not even suggest she get the H1n1 shot.
