Study Time Arithmetic

I think it was only 3rd grade that I had the complete set. I had a couple other used workbooks I got cheap so I could see more of the series. I like the series, but workbooks that required shipping did not work for me.

I had students that loved the Amish materials, but they were quick to start and not finish workbooks. It was the shipping that killed me,  especially before I pleaded with Rainbow to stock the series.

Study Time is a solid option for some families. It gets a thumbs up from me. If a family has room to store bulky workbooks and is putting in an order with Rainbow or Milestone anyway.

I've used most of grades 1 and 2 (Spunky), and then grades 7 and 8.

It's a completely fine math option. If you used it all the way through, with the student understanding it, you'd be just as well-off as with anything else.

It's just, like, really uninspiring for me iykwim. I love simple. I like old-fashion-y. I like the workbooks and the texts. It just doesn't do it for me.

If I use too many Amish materials at once, I get this weird disconnected feeling, being immersed in a culture, but not being part of it.

I don't get the same feeling as badly when using all vintage, as "vintage" is a much wider group of books.
