mamawaabangi
We have done a bit of English from the Roots Up and have enjoyed it, but I was looking for a latin curriculum for my 6th grader, who's really never done latin before. Ideas on curriculum that is enjoyable and easy to teach?
Heather in OK
Latin Alive! I got my older two girls started with Latin using Latina Christiana that wasn't as easy to teach, IMO. We switched to Latin Alive! and they took off with it!! My second daughter did so well that she decided to take the National Latin Exam (my oldest did well also...lol...she just wasn't interested in the exam). SebastianCat
We did Getting Started w/ Latin in 6th grade, then Visual Latin 1 & 2 in 7th & 8th grades. I liked them because my kids were able to do them fairly independently, but our goals were Latin exposure, not necessarily mastery.
