mohini
So I have a mathy dd who is beginning multiplication. I want to get her LOF to see if it clicks so that she can use it as a supplement. (She's totally the type to work out the problems for fun.) I'm fine with her doing review in concepts - I just wish I could save some $. Does she really need to start with Apples? If not then where should she start?
Chelli
I didn't start with Apples with Grace. I jumped in at Goldfish, but even that was too easy. I think we're just going to move into Fractions next.
MiMi 4under3
You can start anywhere, but even my older kids liked to start with apples because they enjoyed the storyline.
MrsWeasley
Well, my daughter finds LoF compelling due to the story line, and there is a lot of interesting math not traditionally covered pretty early in the book, so we started at the beginning. However, we also get them free at the library...
Guest
We ILL'd Apples and had to wait for a long time, but then our library bought the rest of them.
