Dchapelschool
I purchased Science Fusion and am having a very difficult time with tech support. It is outsourced and the techs can not understand my southern twang nor can I understand their heavily accented speech. I tried for an hour. I have managed to get my classes and assignments assigned to my students without support. Where do my students go online to sign-in? I only have a directed sign in to the teacher link. Do they sign in under my teacher link and click on their classes? If anyone else is using this program, I would greatly appreciate direction. Thank you! iammommy
We got up to the first online experiment, in the waves unit, and BAM we couldn't enter data in one of the charts. Tech support ...useless. I'll keep using what I can but I"m disappointed. This program is unnecessarily complicated in terms of the online component. DarlaS
I'm hoping since it's a new product, they'll come out with a homeschool version. Especially, since they had such a great turnout with HSBC. They could streamline so much more. I think they really wanted to give teachers every available resource and it's a bit overwhelming. They must do an in-service or class. ETA: Duh..... on the teacher sign-in page there's a Guides and Tutorials tab. That tutorial thing is really easy to miss! And very very important! I'm finally figuring this out. Yay! Bumping this in case others are having a hard time with SF. It would be nice if they came out with a more streamlined version for homeschoolers, but in the meantime the videos are really very very helpful. I just today figured out that my students could have their own log in and have a completely different view! Duh!
