Remudamom
After frantically searching for my "outside only when it's light and always must stay in after dark" cat, one of the children found her sitting back and enjoying the spectacle of people running around on the verge of hysteria screaming "kittykittykittykitty". She is so amused at the whole thing.
JFSinIL
Don't you know you people are sooo amusing? I often hide int he house just to hear the humans here go crazy calling for me and searching for me - they so fear one of us kitties will get outside! They have NEVER found my hidey-hole yet! I LOVE strolling out into the middle of a room and getting all the attention (when I feel like it). Makes the dog jealous! Lucy in Australia
When I was young and still living at home, we had a white cat with blue eyes who was deaf, so we never let her out at night. One evening, my father decided it was time to find her to bring her in - she was nowhere to be seen. He got a little stressed and was on his hands and knees looking under a cupboard when the cat casually strolled up behind him to sniff at the soles of his feet. We were in hysterics and couldn't stop laughing long enough to explain to my poor father what the joke was.

Gwen in TX
You do know your proper place in the house, yes? The difference between dogs and cats -- The dog says, They feed me. They take care of me. They love me. They must be God.[/B] The cat says, They feed me. They take care of me. They love me. I must be God.[/B]
