Traditional Logic question

Recommended Posts

We are starting TL1 with my oldest son, and I was wondering if I should have him just write in the book, or whether he should write on looseleaf paper. I think it would be easier to have him just write in the book, but I don't know if there's enough room.

Well, my son specialized in print so tiny I needed a microscope to read his writing, so he could have written directly in the book for most things. However, some exercises would probably be too long; the end of chapter material is densely printed. We used a spiral notebook.

We write in the book. If they need more space, they write it on paper that we can staple onto the page so that it does not get lost (we fold the paper and staple it so that it does not stick out of the book) or they put it on a blank spot at the bottom of a page. Most of the work fits in the notebook if they write small. In high school, there is so much work! I like to get my kids to be able to write in the workbooks as often as possible--it just takes them less time. The T/F questions can just be circled. Fill in the blank is so simple...I just prefer using the workbooks. Then, when the class is all done, I can just put their workbook into my filebox as proof of their work--it has all the corrections and grades right there for anyone who wants to see it.

Just my preference.
