Kathleen in VA Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 We just happen to be doing a study of the book Pilgrim's Progress and I just read Christian's conversation with the character named Ignorance. It was really uncanny...Ignorance is so very much like JO and a lot of other people who just believe what they want to believe because it makes them feel good. All that to say, if you want an excellent explanation of true saving faith, I highly recommend reading Pilgrim's Progress and particularly this portion where Christian, Ignorance and Hopeful discuss what characterizes true saving faith.
