I have three dc that will be doing Henle for latin this year so i'm thinking of getting another Latin 1 book, but i'm unsure about which syllabi (is that correct) to get. I'm thinking of getting the Essential latin syllabus for my 12th grader, which will take her through Latin 1 & 2 in a year using select exercises from the Henle book and for my 11th & 8th grader, I would get the Latin 1A syllabus for one year's worth of latin. Does that sound like a good plan? Would I need to get an answer key or are the exercises answered in the Syllabus?
