Amy in TX Posted April 30, 2009 Share Posted April 30, 2009 I like it very much. We took two years to do WriteShop I, and one year to do WriteShop II. My dd is just finishing 8th grade (we used WriteShop as a middle grades program). We've found it to be very effective in teaching clear, descriptive, persuasive writing. Dd's writing has improved dramatically. I also like that the program gives me a lot of help both in teaching and evaluating my dd's writing. Others have mentioned that the TM is complicated, and it is, somewhat, until you get used to it. For me the teaching help and the results were worth it.
