What's the difference between a Roomba 400 & 500 series...

The wall thingy creates a barrier that the Roomba can't cross, so you can confine it to certain spaces. The only thing I don't like about those is that you can't turn them off (at least, not the kind I have--maybe there are others?), so whenever the roomba's on, even if I'm not using it, it's using batteries.

Thanks! That link is helpful. Is the Roomba noisy? Seems like a lot of the reviews indicate it is.

 

Hmm... It's definitely quieter than my regular vacuum, but that's not saying too much. I don't think it's so noisy that I'm ever tempted not to use it. I love mine. The kids do have to turn the TV up when it's running in the kitchen though :D
