corbie
I also used Phonics Pathways, ETC, Bob Books, and LLATL Blue and red. However, my 4 yr old LOVES the computer. So, we have been doing Starfall, Clickn'kids, and Time4learning. She is doing great with those. Every kid is different.
Ellie
The Spalding Method is my favorite. I like some of the others--ETC, Phonics Pathways, for example--but Spalding is my favorite because it's so comprehensive and so effective.
TengoFive
I used 100 EZ Lessons with my first 2. The last one I taught to read, we used OPG and love, love, loved it. Great success, easy peasy. We used ETC (Get Ready, Get Set, and Go for the Code and then followed by the other books) as a supplement, but mainly OPG. I've just started my 4 year old in OPG and she just started reading short a words. This is since the conference in Williamsburg, where she read her first word for Miss Jessie LOL. That spurred her on to go, go, go. So, OPG is my first choice from here on out.
