daisychics
I thought ds was a visual learner like me, but he might be auditory. I don't know much about it so I want to research. Can ya help me? **If you can link me to a place where I can purchase games too, especially for math. TIA :bigear:
chai
I'm visual, but my dd is an auditory learner. I didn't change much in terms of curricula, except that we do a lot of reading aloud. I also get as many books on tape as possible--SOTW would be a great choice. For Latin, chanting outloud is critical. Poetry memorization means reading aloud not just silently. Have your ds record his own memorization and play it back. Also, for math, get math songs/rap or a game like flash master. This is my favorite math site, but it is not really directed at an auditory learner. The biggest thing that I needed to do was NOT choose curricula geared toward a visual learner--MUS, for example, is something that I would love, but would bog down my auditory learner. SusanNN
You can do a google search and listen to samples. It's basically science info put into songs - familiar tunes, some are quite clever/funny - we enjoyed them!
