abreakfromlife
Has anyone used these? Classic Worktext They look good.....does anyone know how the adaptions are? Are they too stripped down? Do the kids like the worksheets? Is it actually a decent thing, or is to fluffy and not enough depth in it? They look really cool. mamaof2andtwins
Your link did not work for me. Could you post a different link or give a specific title? I am guessing that these are at Rainbow Resource. I have not seen them, but I am interested in taking a look. Jennie ETA: Never mind. I found what you are talking about. Catwoman
I haven't used them, but the book selections look excellent. My biggest concern is that each book is only 72 pages, including the entire "book," the illustrations, and the workbook part. It would appear that the story must be quite watered-down, and without actually seeing and looking at the books, there's no way of knowing if the writing style even remotely resembles that of the original book. I hope someone has tried these, as I like the concept, but I'm not sure about the reality. Cat
abreakfromlife
ok, I fixed the link. I was thinking the same thing, Cat. I did a search here for it and came up with nothing, so I'm guessing not many people have used them. $9 is a lot to try something that might be fluff :001_huh:
Catwoman
Just thought I'd bump this up for you, Sally -- hopefully, you'll find someone who has used these books! Cat
