mommylawyer
My husband took over homeschooling the children. It just sort of happened. The funny thing is what he taught them... He taught them how to play poker (without gambling) and chess. He gave them tea and read Aesop's Fables to them. He taught our daughter all about affidavits (he's an attorney, too). He painted a pirate ship with our son and a picture frame with our oldest daughter. He also helped our oldest with an experiment she asked to do... she wanted to know how fast ice melted, so he set up various scenarios to melt ice. And just a little while ago he said, "I spent a lot of time with the kids today!" He had fun, too!
SonshineLearner
That is very sweet. No doubt that has a chance of becoming a "living memory" as she goes through life talking about it. Carrie:-)
