happyWImom
I bought my copy used, and it was a Calvert book. I read somewhere that the book has activity pages/guide for doing hands on stuff to go with. Mine does not. Am I crazy? If they do, and mine doesn't, now what? Ria
There's a workbook, but as far as I remember it doesn't have a single hands-on activity in it. It's basically an outline of the chapter and the child just fills in the missing words. Not worth the money, really. I think you might be confusing CHOW with SWB's Story of the World. Now, that series has the activity guide you are talking about! Hands-on stuff, reading suggestions...it's amazing. Ria
tibbyl
The Child's History of the World workbook has a few coloring pages and activities in back of workbook behind the fill in the blank outline pages. Ours is ancient so the content may have changed since then. We found the fill-in-the-blank chapter outlines to be a good review tool. The workbook is not available separately from Calvert. You would have to buy the CHOW enrichment course to get it. Of course, you'd be buying an extra CHOW book then but they command a good resale price on ebay.
