FriedClams
I have the new workbooks - they look awesome! I am wondering though, how do you schedule it all out? Do you do half one day and half the next? The spelling lists don't seem to carry from lesson to lesson - so how do the kids review the lists? How long does LA take - for say a 2nd or 3rd grader? TIA!!!
MommyX8
There are around 15-16 lessons per LU. One test. So figure at one a day, you have a 170 day school year, give or take.
LNC
There is a spelling list "bookmark" in the back of the lightunit. You cut it out and use it as a bookmark. Your children can study the list any way you want each day - looking at it or writing them out. And they can use the bookmark to complete the spelling portion of the lesson rather than flipping back in the lightunit. I have quizzes and tests every Friday. I have to sometimes go through a self check or another lesson the same day. And we will complete the curriculum a bit early. But, the consistency of having quizzes and tests every Friday has worked well for us.
