Veronica in VA
I went to Gettysburg years ago. I ended up graduating elsewhere as I got married and dh was graduating from West Point so off we went to Panama. But I enjoyed it there - I was a history major. What questions do you have? MyThreeSons
but that was 30 years ago. And one of my favorite teachers in high school graduated from there, but that must have been 40 years ago. I don't know anything recent, but this will bump your post. (I'm assuming you're talking about UOP in (near?) Stockton, CA.)
Lisa Kjeld...in CA
My husband and I both went to UOP...we met when he knocked on my door campaigning for Student Body President. He won the election and a wife! :) We were both Resident Assistants, both in the Greek system, I was a Student Adviser, and after my husband's year as Student Body President he went on to work as an admissions counselor for a year. But...it's been 17 years since we graduated! If you have specific questions, we'll try to answer. Joy! Lisa
JoyfulMama
I might be able to answer a couple questions about the area around Gettysburg College, as it is nearby. Gettysburg itself is very touristy, but that provides some variety in off-campus jobs if one is looking. Crime not bad - and nearest city type areas is York - has most major shopping. Other areas not far are Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Baltimore is the closest bigger airport. Beautiful area around here, and lots of local culture/history. Philly is just a bit further than Baltimore. PM me if you need something specific answered!
