Catherine
My tenth grader did. I was very relieved that he said he was actually able to complete the essay and thought he did an OK job with it. I know that was his biggest worry. I want to thank everyone who has posted with SAT essay thoughts and resources-we are only in the early stages of preparing for SATs and the grading rubric, the ideas from earlier threads on preparation were very helpful to us. Thank you! From here I think we will purchase an SAT prep workbook and do weekly essays for more prep-both for SAT and for college writing. Moira in MA
Hi Catherine My dd did. I posted about her experience in the thread I started this am. Seems to be just us. ~Moira
Ria
No; my 9th and 11th grader took it the last time. It was the first time taking it for my 9th grader...he did amazingly well. And the 11th grader...wow. He got a 760 on the writing portion. I hope all went well with your child...I think it does get easier the second time around. Kareni
Catherine and Moira, Best wishes to both of your children. Now they can relax (at least for the time being!). And, Ria, congratulations for both of your test-takers! Regards, Kareni
