We currently use OPGTR and I want something supplemental to encourage my ds confidence in reading. She enjoyed the workbooks through the 2nd one but was getting bored with them so I signed up for ETC online and she's really enjoying it. You can get it cheaper through the Homeschool buyer's co-op. He had been using the workbooks previously - enjoying them, but resisting all of the extra writing they added to his day. He has LOVED ETC online! Tree House Academy Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 I am another that subscribed through the Hs buyers co-op and my son LOVES it. He was bored with doing the book every day, so we switch it up and he does 2 days a week of the book and 2 days a week of the online version. It is working great for us. mamaof2andtwins Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 We just started this week. I am REALLY liking it. My dd is enjoying it as well. I also got it through Homeschool Buyers Co-op. I have had it get stuck loading a level twice already. I don't know if this is common or not, but it was easy to get out of. We didn't lose anything either. snickelfritz Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 My dd normally only works on it 1 or 2 times a week. Or if we're having a hectic day and I want her to do something school related, but independent. When she works though, she usually goes through 6 or 7 levels. We also got it through the coop and I figure that over the course of a year, even at only using it 1 or 2 times a week....we're getting our money's worth.
