Amoret
Does anyone have any good resources for beginning Russian for DD13? She is already doing French (Breaking the Barrier level 3 next year along with other assorted resources). I am on the fence about her taking on another language, but she has asked about it, and I just wanted to see what is out there. We would prefer a text to start with. If we add it in, it would be a slow introduction that she could build on later, so any sort of online tutor or subscription service wouldn't be a good fit.
HomeAgain
Try Copoka (Soroka). It's colorful, and it might feel a little young, but I would show her the various books and see what she thinks. 1

Not_a_Number
When we briefly looked into getting a Russian tutor for DD10 (I'm a Russian speaker and usually do it myself, but we were butting heads), the above is what she suggested. It looked cute but pretty easy.
