mlktwins
I am sending in the boys' mid-year report to a few schools today. For their 12th grade GPA I have IP (In Progress) and, for their Cumulative GPA, I have TBD because we don't have final grades yet. Is this the correct way to handle this? Sebastian (a lady)
What I've done is cumulative GPA to date. Are you including a mid-year grade for IP courses? You can mark mid-term grades with an asterisk or put them in parentheses and include a one line comment that * or () indicates mid-year grades that are not included in the cumulative GPA. I did mark mid-year grades as such. We have one spring semester class. The only completed grade is their DE US History. How do I do the GPA with just one completed class? Cumulative GPA would include quality points for all the completed courses, divided by the number of completed credits. When the year is over and all courses are completed, recalculate GPA using the new larger number of completed credits.
