cintinative
I'm tossing around ideas for next year (2023-2024). I know--I am way ahead of myself! I have a couple texts I can use, but one thing I have found from doing Bio at home (text, minimal videos to supplement), then Derek Owens physics, then Chemistry at home (text, minimal videos to supplement) is that my kids who originally said they hated videos are now finding that for science, they prefer that teaching format. So, I just tried to do a little digging to see what is out there, and I am wondering if there is anything like the Georgia Public Broadcasting videos but for ecology? If not, I still have some ideas about how to make the class less textbook dependent. Just looking to see if the Hive has some ideas. ETA: I am finding some decent continuing ed videos for naturalists here and there that might work.
