1) Any headset with mic would work. My teens have their preferences so they go to Best Buy to pick their own headsets. Wired or wireless is also personal preferences. My husband prefers wireless but would use the wired headset for conference calls because his wireless headset do drop connections a few times which isn’t great for work calls.

2) If you want to listen in while your child is in class, get an audio jack splitter. I buy mine from Daiso but you can get from Best Buy or Amazon. My kid has his headset with mic while I have my earphones plug into the audio splitter.
