JennyD
DS17 and i are going to do European history this year using the Merriman (may he rest in peace) text, which is published by Norton. We'll also use Merriman's lectures from Yale Open Courses. I'm still dithering about whether to do it AP or not but I did Course Audit just in case. The Norton website appears to have a number of useful free resources to go along with the text, including a syllabus that aligns the book with the AP Euro framework. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to request access to their instructor resources as a homeschooler. I can't even open a Help Request ticket without selecting a school name, and there are no options for leaving that blank or selecting "other." Has anyone managed to successfully do this? Norton publishes the WTM so I feel like it should be possible for homeschoolers to access their site. 🙂 I did locate a general 1-800 number for the company so if all else fails I will try that tomorrow, but just thinking about the journey that call will be makes me want to take a nap.
