Brittany1116
I got a 3rd edition Saxon Alg. 1 for $10 and my son needs it now. It appears it may be a PS edition when I look up ISBN to compare to current HS options online. Do HS versions have answers to all odd numbered questions in back? Anyone have ISBN 1 56577 134 6 and know if the widely available answer key in the HS packet is compatible?
Gil
Saxon Algebra has always been used in public schools as well as home schools. The 3rd edition is a staple in the homeschooling world. You can purchase the answer key/test booklet to accompany it if you want. The 3rd edition the cover looks like this: Saxon Algebra 4th edition is definitely targeted more at Public Schools and is not really recommended by homeschoolers. The 4th edition looks like this:
Zoo Keeper
This is the Home Study Packet that goes with the ISBN you posted... https://archive.org/details/algebra1incremen00saxo/mode/2up It has the answers *but not worked solutions* for the student text and answers *with solutions* the test booklet that matches-- test booklet sold separately! Here is the Solutions Manual for the student text if you need it. https://www.rainbowresource.com/product/007759/Saxon-Algebra-1-Solution-Manual-3ED.html? And here is a page of other helps that match the 3rd ed ISBN. https://www.rainbowresource.com/category/2100/Saxon-Algebra-1-3rd-Ed-with-Geometry.html Edited November 26, 2021 by Zoo Keeper
Brittany1116
Thank you so much! Everywhere I looked, I saw the same cover with a different ISBN and I wasn't convinced they were a match for the homeschool packet. Appreciate you both!
