Aloha2U
I plan on using Galloping the Globe next year for K (Geography), and am looking at possibly adding/complimenting it with... A Child's Geography Vol 1 (Geography/Earth Science). Is ACG age appropriate for K? BTW... In 1st grade, I plan on using Cantering the Country along w/VP's recommendations for Geography... and starting the God's Design for Science Curriculum (1st grade - 4th grade: Life, Heaven and Earth, the Physical World, Chemistry). alpidarkomama
My K'er is really enjoying A Child's Geography. I'm stretching it out through the whole year, so we're only using it 2-3x/month.
Aloha2U
Hmm... would it be possible to use both Vol 1 (Explore His Earth) and Vol 2 (Explore the Holy Land) in one year?

alpidarkomama
I haven't seen volume 2, so I don't know. Right now, I just wouldn't want to devote that much time to geography. Our Jewish studies entail about 75 minutes/day of "book learning" and secular studies (reading/writing/math) take 45 minutes. Then we do science, geography, nature study, readlouds, art, music... I find it's plenty for us! :) In first grade, I can see us maybe doing it weekly, but I'm pretty sure we won't have time to do more than that.
