texascamps
Since a lot of you keep old childrens' books, let me ask for your help. Does anyone remember a book about two sisters who have to clean their room? They draw a line down the center of their room. But one girl has the closet and the other girl has the door so they have to learn to compromise. Anyone? I'm guessing its an early 70's book. One of my childhood favorites and I would like to get it for my sister.....we drew lines down our shared room many times.
Guest janainaz
Yes, I remember that book! It was just a little square book. I've tried to find it and have never been able to.
Anne
I found this on Abebooks Book Sleuth: Two Sisters Don't Get Along Divide Room This book is a childrens book it is about two sisters who share the same room, they dont get along and end up dividing their room in two sides with a rope or an imaginary line and neither can cross to the other side. It seems that one of the girls had red or yellow hair parted in the middle with braids and freckles. I also remember an illustration of a maid or nanny being hired up to their window in a basket by a horse. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Janae in Syracuse, Utah SOLVED: This Room is Mine by Betty Wren Wright, solved by Adria in Rockville, MD Anne
