learntosoar
I would appreciate recommendations for books to use to help teach Grade 3 science. Books on teaching about a variety of subjects... 1. biomes 2. biodiversity 3. learning about landforms and environmental changes caused by ice, erosion, wind etc 4. introduction to thermal energy 5. learning about matter and introducing the concept of atoms Thank you
8filltheheart
https://www.nsta.org/outstanding-science-trade-books-students-k-12 Lots of great science books listed here. FWIW, I just finished reading All in a Drop with my 5th grader. It's a great book. I found it from looking through the list of 2020 winners (easy to see here https://www.cbcbooks.org/cbc-book-lists/ostb-2020/ ) We did a pond/river study earlier and studied different water samples under a microscope. I saw the title and added it to our reading list. Edited September 17, 2020 by 8FillTheHeart
