mathmarm Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Jr. has learned so many ELA/GUM concepts from books I thought I would share the titles/authors of a few for others to consider for their own home library. Words are Cat-egorical (series Cleary) World of Language (series Heller) Punctuation takes a Vacation (Pulver) Crazy Like a Fox (Leedy) Miss Allaineus (Frasier) You're Toast and Other Metaphors We Adore (Loewen) We have another story about Punctuation and if I remember the title, I will post it. Grasping Grammar (Game) Enjoy after a few readings of World of Language/Words are Categorical books. If I think of any others, I will come update this thread. 1 Quote
goldenecho Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 OOh. I'll have to check those out! Another one you might want to check out is Semicolons, Cupcakes, and Cucumbers. My son loved it so much he actually asked to read it for a bedtime story, which never happens with those types of educational books. 1 Quote

The book that I couldn't remember is Punctuation Celebration. 1 Quote
