Pen
These thoughts were inspired by another board member. Assuming CV19 might be a long haul visitor, what sorts of masks might at some point allow for safe speaking, singing, choir, theater? I wonder if the masks in Ancient Greece resonated? As I think about it more, I would guess that they likely did. They were using some sort of amphitheaters with large audiences and could not have had speakers and microphones. The masks at least must not have stopped voices. But maybe they acted more like resonators on drums or like the skin (nowadays plastic) resonator of a banjo. I have a banjo and if I talk with my mouth by it, it sounds almost like a microphone I thought I’d put this out here and maybe creative ways to do something like this could be crowdsourced. Maybe something that has a top part like this diy face shield and then some filtering but resonance material in the mouth area? https://youtu.be/GNnxoXNScSA
