The first half was very engaging and just had a few points that I felt needed discussion. After delving into the second half, I think there is too much (wrt worldview and unitarian? Ideas that she weaves into the book) that requires discussion. Is there anything else that is narrative, deep, and engaging? The child in question is 10, loves reading biographies, can read way above grade level, and has lots of background knowledge on the time period. Each is around 170-190 pages.
