Maryam
How useful are the lesson plans? Did you end up using them or find them unnecessary?
kristin0713
Not useful for me. Unless there is a print version now, when I tried it they were all on the Homeschool Planet online planner. I ended up canceling and getting a refund.
wendyroo
I have used MM all the way through with one kiddo, am in the home stretch with another, and starting out with a third. I have never needed or used lesson plans.
NormaElle
One of the awesome parts of MM is the ease of implementation. You just open and go! Sometimes we have done a set # of pages per day, but now we try to do a lesson a day (skipping about half the problems). If there's a comprehension issue, we can go back and do the rest of the problems. Some lessons are too long for this and take two days. But it's a really great resource to just open and use. Ananda
We use them, but they are completely unnecessary. I agree that Math Mammoth is pretty open & go. I like that they include links to free online games to reinforce the lesson, but I am sure with some work you could find games yourself. They also include links to teaching videos, but we have never used those.
