Monica_in_Switzerland
Just curious. I'm considering doing this, as I'm satisfied with our grammar and writing materials, but hope to do a large-ish unit on poetry each year (like a 6 week enrichment study type thing). I have the first book and really like it, wondering if the others continue to hold up. Any experience/ideas welcome!
Clemsondana
We use the entire MCT series, but we sometimes do the poetry as a stand-alone unit at the end of the year rather than integrating it. We've used the first 3 levels (island, town, and voyage) and we've learned from all of them. As a STEM person whose last exposure to poetry was less-than-great high school English class, I'm finding it helpful. Each book starts with review of some topics but they add more each time and use different poems to illustrate them.
RenaInTexas
The others are similar to the first book. If you like it, you should like those as well.
