Slache
We are about to finish the bird section of Flying Creatures and they want to read Botany for a while. Is there a reason we shouldn't do this? We already own it. Eta: I will read each text from front to back, just considering more than one at a time.
hollyhock2
I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't. I think it's a great idea to go with their interests.

nixpix5
Many science texts are broken up into different scientific disciplines. BJU, for example, typically starts out with biology units, then botany, then chemistry or physics followed by earth science. My kids love this variety and that is essentially what you can provide by rotating through apologia. I think it's a great idea ?
