Seeking Squirrels
We really like RSO, but I find that the further we get through the year, the more likely we are to not be as interested and skip it here and there. Then I'll pull out a Spangler box or something and DD9 LOVES it. She really loves science, but I'm thinking the full year focus on one topic might just be too much. Is there a completely secular (not neutral) program that is like RSO but covers a few topics a year more like they would in PS? We really do like the lay-out of RSO, the plans, the reading lists, the frequent labs.... we just need less time spent on one topic.
Farrar
You could get a public school textbook. But I think probably the best option would be to get a couple of other RSO years and skip around between the lessons since you know it works for you and you like the format.

I already have Life, Earth/Space, and Physics. We are halfway through physics right now. Maybe I should get Chemistry and alternate chemistry and phsyics over the next year and a half. I have Blair Lee's climate change book that I could throw in there, too.
