EKS
If you decide to stay with WWS, you may want to consider slowing it down to maybe one lesson per 3-4 weeks. I'd do all parts of the lesson together--so like every day for a week or whatever is comfortable, and then spend a few weeks on other writing. It could be creative writing if they like that or it could be of the "tell me about the French Revolution" variety, where they write a short paper about what they're learning or you could have them write to various prompts or research something they're interested in and then report on it. The idea would be to spice things up while still having some structure. Also if you decide to continue with it, if you're not doing so already, I'd do the lessons with them rather than have them work independently.
