This week the Flylady is focused on Zone 2 - Kitchen

 

Thursday - Errand Day!

Thursday at FlyLady is Errand Day. We use this day to get out and run whatever errands we need to do for the week. Make a list of wherever you need to go and whatever you need to do during the day today and then get to it. This can include:

• Grocery shopping

• Doctor appointments

• Dentist appointments

• School shopping

• Dropping the clothes off at the cleaner

And tons of other things. If it needs to be done outside the house, today is the day to do it. Make a list of these things and check them off as you do them.

 

Today's Mission (We only have missions Monday through Friday): Your Mission for today is to declutter your plastic wraps and foil drawers, cabinets or shelves.  We all have a spot that we keep these items and there is always one empty box in there and some lone baggies that are trying to escape.  Toss the empty boxes, the rolls of plastic wraps that are too stuck together to work, and those strays that you are not sure if you should use them or not. 

 

Fly Kids Mission (We only have missions Monday through Friday): We are taking a walk! Let's take a walk through our houses and find 10 things that belong in our rooms and put them away. If you have left any shoes, jackets, toys or books lying around the house now is the time to return them to their home. When you leave your things around the house it makes the house look messy. Let's grab up the things that belong in our rooms and take them there.

 

If you are new to Flylady, please join at any time. There is no better time then now to learn to keep your house clean the easy way!

I don't have the problem in the mission so I won't be doing that today.

 

Morning routine

 

Afternoon routine

 

Daily:

--Wipe down washer and dryer

--Hall bathroom tidy

--Sweep foyer steps and downstairs hall

-Have ds wash his bedding

 

Extra:

--Volunteer 2 hours at thrift store

 

Dinner: Balsamic fig chicken, sweet potatoes, mixed greens

Hello Fly Friends!  Today was Baby Step Day 16 - Learning the System / Read FlyLady Email   I have been subscribed to the FlyLady emails for the last 2 years, so I think I understand them pretty well.  Actually, right when I signed up on this forum I unsubscribed from them because I didn't want FlyLady overload.  Now I can just go to her site and use the Launchpad if there is something I need clarification on.  The Launchpad section is my favorite part of the site because it has all the important stuff there - Reminders, Flight Plan, Missions, Zones, etc.
