housemouse
Ds decided he wants to try learning Italian. What is there that is geared towards 5th/6th grade but absolute beginner? We have access to Duolingo and Mango languages, he uses them but he is not very fond of them. He likes workbooks and flashcards and videos if available. No Rosetta Stone, it crashes our computers every time. Thank you. Edited May 29, 2017 by housemouse
...................
Duolingo was the only thing we had success with at that age. ...so I don't have many ideas for written work...With duolingo, it moves VERY fast and it can be a lot if you do it too long every day. Have you tried just cutting back to five or ten minutes each schoolday?
regentrude
I liked Prego! Invitation to Italian. There is a textbook with workbook and audio CDs; I believe the audio exercises are available online as well.
