rbk mama
DS took Spanish 2 at a homeschool co-op this year. It was horrible. The teacher was disorganized and moved incredibly slowly through the material. I was going to sign DS up for Spanish 3 with TPS, but he could only do maybe 25% of the placement test. So what do we do now? What would be ideal is an accelerated class that covered a typical Spanish 2 and 3 in one year. Would Homeschool Spanish Academy be able to do this? Any other ideas? klmama
What materials has he used so far? Switching text series can be a problem because vocab and grammar are taught in different order.
klmama
Thinking about this again this morning, I realized that the only option I know of for condensing Spanish 2 and 3 into one year is by taking the courses at the college level, where a year of high school Spanish is taught in a semester. Of course, that assumes your dc is capable of passing a placement test into second semester college Spanish.
