TwoEdgedSword
Have you found any decent online options for at least one or two courses in your state? I'm not talking about the K12 virtual academy type of programs. Ds needs an online public school course to play sports. So far he's taken two through our state's virtual academy. Pretty bad imho. I just found PLATO via Edmentum. The reviews aren't great. Any personal experience with this or another p.s. online program that is acceptable? There have been some very good homeschool online providers we've used, but it must be a government accepted one for h.s. sports. Thanks!!! Julie of KY
KET offers foreign language, physics, economics and arts. These are courses used by public schools in KY who don't have teachers in these areas and offered to homeschoolers. My son is taking Latin through them right now. $100 for KY residents; $450 for outside of KY http://www.dl.ket.org/
3andme
Haven't had experience with any of these providers but they are NCAA approved. Of these, I have read positive reviews for some of the FLVS courses on other forums. BYU Independent Study FLVS APEX Acellus
momof2cowboys
I don't know what state you are in, or if this is what you are looking for, but my son is taking Spanish I through Texas Tech UISD. We have had a good experience so far.
